Hellenic Weightlifting Federation
Born on June 14, 1973 in Avlona. He is 1,69m. tall and competes in the 77kg category. In 1986, he joined weightlifting. In 1991, he returned to his roots. He belongs to Spartakos of Ioannina. At the Atlanta 1996 Olympics he lost the bronze medal over less body weight. He won olympic silver in Sydney. He is a graduate of high school and an Officer in the Greek Airforce.
