Born in Avlona on January 13, 1973. In 1991, he returned to his roots. His is 1,60m tall and competes in the 69kg category. He belongs to Spartakos of Ioannina. At the Atlanta Olympics he lost the bronze medal over less body weight. A serious injury prevented him from competing in the Sydney Olympic Games. He is a graduate of high school and a Second Lieutenant in the Greek Navy.
