Hellenic Weightlifting Federation
He was born on February 25, 1985, he is 1.58m tall, and he belongs to the Kronos Serron Club. Before deciding on Weightlifting, which his older brother Alexandros is also practicing, he had also practiced two other sports, karate and wrestling. His first appearance, on an international level, was in the World Championships in Warsaw (2002) in which he was placed 7th in the overall average. This year he has won 3 silver medals in the European Junior Championships.
