European Weightlifting Championships 2003

Galabin Boevski (BUL): “I came to this competition to win the title and I achieved it. I hope to lift even more at the World Championships. I especially enjoy competing in Greece, because of the warm and enthusiastic crowds that help me win whenever I’m here.”

Turan Mirzayev (AZE): “I was sure fro myself and in good condition. Conditions for weightlifting in Azerbaijan are very good. My dream is to become an Olympic Champion and I will try to win the gold medal in  the Athens Olympics in 2004.”

Ekrem Celil (TUR): “I didn’t do very well, especially in the snatch, but I hope to do better in the World Championships.”
