Dear IWF Members, One year before 2000, we will have the pleasure and honour to host the International Weightlifting Family in Greece, in the city of sports and culture, the city of Athens. The Hellenic Weightlifting Federation, with the support of Hellenic State and, close co-operation of the International Federation, will make every effort to continue the tradition of successful world weightlifting events an try to organise world championships equal to the sport’s history. The 1999 World Championships will be held in one of the biggest National Sport Centers and, it will have the latest technical substructure, in every sector, as well as the qualified staff, a combination that will certainly lead to the highest organizing level. |
