The official LOGO of the European Youth & U15 Championships in Thessaloniki!

The Organizing Committee of the European Weightlifting Championship for Boys - Girls & U15, which will take place in Thessaloniki from June 15 to 23, 2024, presents the logo of the organization.

It depicts a bar standing atop Thessaloniki's iconic monument, the White Tower, and was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Weightlifting Federation.

The European Championship will be held in Alexandrio Melathron PALAIS DES SPORTS in the central hall "Nikos Galis" and is expected to attract 300-350 entries from all over Europe, which will attract all the spotlights of European weightlifting to Thessaloniki.

The Olympic Champion Pyrros Dimas, who as General Secretary of the EOAB took the lead in organizing the event, said: "After the World Youth Championship held in 2022 in Thessaloniki, our country is taking on another major weightlifting event, the European Youth & U15 Championship which will take place in Thessaloniki in collaboration with the European Weightlifting Federation. We are expecting athletes from all over Europe and we aim, since the organization is included in the events of "Thessaloniki - European City of Sports 2024", to promote Greece and the beautiful city of Thessaloniki to the whole world."
